Every child deserves a healthy start and a hand to hold.
We work in slums, orphanages and under-resourced communities across Nigeria, closing the gap in children's healthcare, nutrition and education — one classroom, one clinic visit, one meal at a time.

Built from a mother's love, run with a scientist's eye.
Ijeoma Augustina Ambrose — Founder, NGC FoundationI named this foundation after my mother, Ngozi, whose undying love for children who weren't hers led her to feed, clothe, house and teach children on the street. Before she passed, she told me never to neglect the poor. NGC Foundation is how I carry that forward.
I hold a BSc in Microbiology and an MSc in Medical Microbiology, with hands-on laboratory experience and independent research work behind me. I work as a clinical laboratory microbiologist, and I'm an AMR (antimicrobial resistance) researcher and advocate, analysing large-scale health data as part of that work.
That scientific grounding shapes how NGC Foundation runs: our health programmes are built on evidence, not guesswork. But the reason I do this work at all is simpler — a lifelong love for children's health and wellbeing, and a belief that every child deserves to grow up well, not just to survive.
Five fingers, one hand — five pillars, one mission.
Each colour in our handprint mark stands for a part of a child's wellbeing. We don't treat them separately; a healthy child needs all five held together.
Health & Wellbeing
Medical care access, hygiene sensitisation, menstrual health education and disease-prevention outreach such as our COVID-19 awareness programme.
Nutrition & Feeding
Feeding programmes for street children and kids in poor communities, tackling hunger that keeps children from learning and staying well.

Welfare & Empowerment
Clothing, shelter support and skills training, plus counselling and empowerment for abused and less-privileged women and girls.
